Simon Cole established Show & Tell Gallery in downtown Toronto in the summer of 2008 as a vessel for marginalized and often disregarded artists to showcase their work. Offering a comfortable environment for collectors both new and established to discover new artistry, Show & Tell Gallery introduces an exciting roster of emerging and seasoned artists from across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Taking inspiration from city walls, train yards, classic typography, digital design, comics and comix, tattoo culture, amongst other influences, the artists of Show & Tell Gallery are at the forefront of contemporary art. This diverse group stems from untraditional artist backgrounds or work with unconventional subject matters creating unique fine art works in a variety of mediums including print, sculpture, mixed-media, as well as figurative and abstract painting. This roster proves to be the artistic voice of our current moment in time.
Show & Tell Gallery provides a large main exhibition space as well as a smaller project area for artists to display their work. In addition, the gallery offers custom framing services, retails art books, limited edition prints, magazines, sculptures, and other related wares.
